Ukrainian countertenor Yuriy Minenko became the first Ukrainian singer and the first countertenor who made it to the final of the Cardiff Singer of the World Competition (Cardiff, Wales, Great Britain, 2009). After his success in Cardiff his concert schedule was made up for a few years ahead and now he successfully performs on opera and concert stages of Europe.
